Every year there tends to be a route that offers good value for money when chasing BA Executive Club Tier Points (TPs). For a while now, Sofia (SOF) has been a great place to earn (relatively) low cost TPs.

Sofia is one of the Short Haul+ routes that BA offers. Those are trips which are (generally) longer than 1000 miles from departure point to arrival point, (although there are some exceptions to this). They earn 80 TPs in each direction when flying in business.

This trip is the first of a few over the next twelves months which see me visit Sofia (airport). This trip is split over two weekends with a trip out to Sofia and a nested trip back to London.
