I was pleased to finally get back to my car at T5 Long Stay. It felt like it had been a long day and I was keen to get home to reaquaint myself with the Vickster and the moggies.

I got through Passport Control kiosk first time, although it took a lot of whirring to confirm I was OK to enter the UK! From there, I headed up to the Arrivals Lounge for a shower.

I arrived at Gate 18 in time to board alongside the last passengers. Of course, I got a red "no no" when scanning my face at the gate; BA needed to check my passport before I could get on.

The AA Lounge at the low-B gates was packed again. I'm sure it was never this busy when I frequented Phoenix years ago. Perhaps there are more passengers with status? Perhaps I have been unlucky with timing?
