I was second off behind the first officer, and it took a while to work out my bearings in the airport. I was concerned about going too far and missing transit security, but it became pretty obvious.

I got into the CCR and went for a shower to freshen up. The lounges felt pretty busy, but I managed to find a quiet seat.

A short shuttle bus to the Tom Bradley International Terminal, and we were soon heading through TSA Pre-Check. Once through, we headed straight into the Qantas First Lounge and found some relaxing recliner seats.
