This is another installment of my series of TP runs to Sofia. In June, July and Dec of 2023, I did a number of trips out to Sofia, just to collect TPs. There was another opportunity in Jan 2024 to collect more cheap TPs, so here I am!

Whilst we were waiting to reboard, I was asked by the despatcher what the weather was like at Heathrow. A bit breezy, I said, which I guess was a bit of an understatement.

Lap 8 started with a jolt. My watch battery had run out, so my phone woke me abruptly. Due to the tube signalling issues last night, the Piccadilly line was shut, so I had to fork out £25 for an Uber to T3.

T3 wasn't too busy. Fast track Security wasn't busy either, so I was soon wandering over to the Cathay Pacific lounge.

I queued up at the glass door with the guys, and the Despatcher Two came to let us through. We hung around at the front of the priority boarding queue until we were invited to reboard.

I finally got into bed at 11pm last night, so I had almost five hours of kip planned. I set two alarms: my watch for 3:45am and my phone for 3:46am. My phone woke me up. Not quite as much of a start as the last time, but a start nonetheless.
