Work Trip to Houston in Jan 2014: Day 2 – Houston

Had a good day in the office. Our Houston office could really do with me full time!

Got taken out to lunch to a place that looked like a dirty shack but really was quite nice inside.

Had a Mexican beef salad in a massive taco, but not enough time to eat it as we were talking so much. Everyone seems very nice.

Dinner tonight in the hotel bistro as I have work to do and ‘The March of the Penguins’ is on later. Loads on the US news about the cold weather and it’s really cold here tonight.

Pissed Off of Warrington here. ‘Dinner in the hotel bistro’?? fat chance. Hotel bistro is shut till 7th Jan due to low occupancy.

All around the hotel are fried food places and the bistro has quite a good menu – though I’m not going to get any of it. And did anyone think to tell me this when I checked in for 8 nights – yes EIGHT!!!
