Tier Point Run to Sofia in Jul 2023: Day 1 – Prep

I had the same challenges as I had for my trip in June: BA had changed not only the times of both flights, but also the Heathrow terminal I was due to depart from.

Another visit to Heathrow T3. I’ve spent a good amount of time in the Cathay First Lounge and the BA Lounge. This time I might spend some more time in the Qantas Lounge or the AA First Lounge. Either way, there will be plenty of free food available!

No issues with checking in online for both flights: the outbound and the return due to be flown on the same day. I was taking advantage of a same plane turnaround (or back to back – aka a B2B).

I like to organise a flight at least once every couple of months; ideally i’d prefer once every month. Since the beginning of the year I’ve done pretty well, so this is just another little jaunt to one of BA’s outstations before heading home late in the evening.
