Another entertaining TP Run is on the cards: this time to Los Angeles. LA is not a normal destination for me, since it is usually just a connection point on the way to another US city. For example, a hop, skip or a jump to Las Vegas, San Francisco, Phoenix or Hawaii.
This trip officially starts in Budapest, so on Tue evening, I head over to Hungary and stay at the iBIS Styles airport hotel. The following day, Finnair will be flying me up to Helsinki, then down on the A350 back to Heathrow. There, I am overnighting at the Hilton T5.
Then it’s flying with BA over to New York JFK and on to LAX with American Airlines. That will be a fairly standard flying day for me.
I’m looking forward to spending two clear days in the heart of California. I’m not going to bother with a car, I’ll just Uber around the city.
Then it’s heading back on a slightly more complex itinerary. From LAX, I head back over to New York JFK and on to Heathrow with BA. Pretty straight forward so far.
Then Finnair fly me up to Helsinki and down to Malaga. That will be my first time heading to Spain on a TP Run. Then I do a same plane turnaround and head back to Helsinki and finally back down to Heathrow.
That B2B at Malaga will be a killer – the flight is over 4 hours and it will be an A320 aircraft, so only a reclining seat, and it’s a red-eye!
