Bit scary this - my first overseas trip by air on my own! At 47! I’ve always had someone in tow to rely on for finding my way around, or picking up things from hotel rooms when I have left them, and there’s no one but myself to rely on.

Wandered across into the airport and through fast track security at BRU and popped upstairs to the BA lounge which was very pleasant, and quiet at that time in the morning.

Finally we are on way. Finished off those last minute jobs. Vick packed her face cream and I threw a few bits and bobs in a bag.
