The flight back to Heathrow was a bit of a drag. It was a longer flight because of fighting against the jet stream, and by that stage, the novelty had worn off a bit. I felt tired as well, and I just needed to get home.

Having arrived at a gate on the other side of the concourse, we got a different level of service on arrival. The airbridge was connected, and there was a short delay whilst the arrival team got themselves prepared.

I jogged across the front of T3 and down the steps to head to the tube. My jogging paid off as I just caught a train on the way into Central London.
