Tier Point Run to Sofia in Nov 2024: Day 18 – London Heathrow to Home

The airbridge was attached pretty quickly at Gate 28, so it was long before I was jogging on my way to Passport Control, which was empty when I finally reached it.

Straight through, down through Baggage Reclaim and out to Stop 16 to pick up the Long Stay bus. For once, the bus didn’t hang around. Having just got on board, it was quickly on its way to the car park.

There was a bit of a minor delay in exiting the car park, which didn’t recognise my registration plate. A quick discussion with Customer Services and they let me out.

At this time of the day, the M25 is nice and clear, so the quickest way home was via the M40. All easy going and the only minor challenge were some residual flooding in Culham and Sutton Courtenay.
