It was that time again! Lap 5 and 6 started today. This was the first of two B2B2Bs covering Fri and Sat with a night spent at the Hilton Garden Inn at Hatton Cross in between.
For a change, I had a really good night’s sleep. I didn’t wake until 5:30, and as soon as I got up, I heard Chutney wail: “What time do you call this? Where’s my breakfast?”
Coffee in our cafe has become the norm since we moved here. There’s nothing more relaxing than a good quality latte, a blanket, and a cat on our laps. The one thing missing this morning was a cat!
Vick had Chutney, but my feline friend wasn’t interested this morning.
When the Vickster left to help out at Cats Protection, I decided I may as well go at the same time. So on the road around 8:15am, even though my first flight wasn’t due to leave until well after 2pm.
It was another trip down the A34 and M4. No particular hold ups.
It was bright if a little chilly, but it wasn’t long before I was parking up at the Hilton Garden Inn, followed by the short tube journey into Heathrow T3.
