This is another one of those mad dashes across the Atlantic, starting in Budapest, to Heathrow, then onto New York and Los Angeles, before a final hop over to Honolulu.

It was mad for pickups at the hotel, but my Grab taxi managed to wind its way through all of the other cabs. For less than £2, its just a no-brainer to avoid the walk and getting sweaty on the way.

By this point, I could definitely feel that I was properly into the swing of things. Hong Kong had become something of a base for the Asia phase of my Round The World trip, and staying in the same hotel each time simplified everything enormously.

Photos from Day 12, when I enjoyed an early start to the day in Denpasar, I took a Cathay Pacific flight back to Hong Kong and I had an easy ride on the way to the Skycity hotel.

Cathay Pacific only operated a single daily flight from Denpasar, which was the return leg of the Hong Kong service I’d taken a couple of days earlier.
