We arrived at around 1pm and we didn’t expect our room to be ready, but it was! So we took the opportunity to unpack everything in room 205, which had a great view of the ocean. Not quite the room we wanted to book, but it was decent enough.
To take advantage of the nice weather, we walked into the town and checked out the places we may visit for dinner later on in the day. In the end we decided to buy cheese and biscuits so that we could sit out on our balcony and watch the sun go down. We also purchased a bottle of rose and a bottle of pina colada, so we could top up our alcohol levels.
After a snooze in the afternoon, I managed to secure some plastic knives and some paper plates from reception, so that we could enjoy our cheese and biscuits on our balcony.
The pina colada was a bit sweet for our liking, but we had spent money on it and it contained alcohol, so we persevered.
The sunset was impressive; amazing how/why so many people gather outside of the hotel to watch the event that happens every day, as if this time it was going to be the last.
