There were armed police asking to see passports at the top of the jet bridge. Luckily they weren’t looking for me.

It was a long walk to UK arrivals but there was no one in the arrivals hall. No problems with the passport kiosk, and a sharp jog to the waiting bus.

There was a big queue of people with huge cases. Consequently it got clogged up quickly. I shuffled around and squeezed on before driver decided he had had enough.

Only a short bus ride back to Long Stay and I squeezed back into my car and off down the M4 I drove.

Nothing much to report on the drive home. I was back home by around 4pm.
