We had switched off the light by 9:45 last night - it had been a long day! Of course that doesn’t translate into a long deep sleep does it!

Holiday to Las Vegas in Dec 2013: Day 2 – Amsterdam (AMS) to London City (LCY) to New York (JFK)

We turned off the light fairly early (I think it’s our age!), and slept ok - fairly hard bed. Breakfast was the typical Hampton fayre which didn’t suit Vick that much.

Holiday to Las Vegas in Dec 2013: Day 1 – Manchester (MAN) to Amsterdam (AMS)

The day has arrived. I’ve had two days at work in between my mileage run to Grand Cayman and this holiday, so I’m happy now that I’ve left things in a good state prior to being away for 3 weeks.

Very much looking forward to getting home now and seeing the missus. Due back at 16:30 and she’s got a special tea lined up for me.

In the DAA Exec lounge, and I’m leaving from gate 302 on BA0833 back to Heathrow next leaving at 08:55. So far the trip has gone according to plan and I hope the last two flights carry on that tradition.
