Work Trip to Houston in Jan 2014: Day 1 – Las Vegas (LAS) to Houston (IAH)

Will be catching a flight to DFW around lunchtime and then on to Houston arriving early evening. Hopefully being picked up by someone at the airport.

So this is me in the Las Vegas pod.

Yeah okay I did have a tear in my eye as I left my beloved at Vegas Gate D10.

But most of it was due to laughter that my plan worked.

I persuaded him to take some of my stuff home, created some space in my suitcase and guess who has a free weekend in Houston?

The credit card is a-jumpin’ in my purse!!

And this is my lunch – BBQ pulled pork Spanish rice and guacamole:
