Tier Point Run to Sofia in Jul 2023: Day 1 – Heathrow to Home

Arrival into Gate 305R at Heathrow T3

It was a short walk/jog to passport control. Due to my need to go through the Seek Assistance queue, I wanted to get ahead of passengers feeding into the flow from another arrival into T3.

Although there was a big queue for non-UK and there were a few passengers going through the kiosks, there was no one in the Seek Assistance queue! Result!

I had minimal interaction with the officer before he waved me through. I’m getting bored of the normal exchanges about there being someone with the same name as me which means I’ll never be able to use the passport kiosks etc…

I had to wait for 10 mins for a shuttle bus to take me and a fair number of others back to Business Parking.

Two more passengers joined at T2, but I was back to Bobby Tesla 2 and on my way out of the car park by 10:30pm. That’s not far off an hour earlier than the last two trips to Sofia in June.

It was still nicely warmish, it was dry and the roads were not too busy. I chose the M40 route home and I was back by 11:30pm.

Just Mango took the opportunity of heading outside when I opened the front door on this ocassion.

Another 160 TPs on the account…
