Tier Point Run to Palm Springs in Dec 2023: Day 1 – Home to London Heathrow

The start of another trip beckons and another few days away from home.

Hopefully, the Vickster can shake the cough that she now has, and fit in some exciting stuff to keep her mind off me not being at home.

Another standard start to a Billingham household day, starting with time in our cafe, having woken up in our extra-large master suite.

The work we had done on our master ensuite has made such a difference.

Left the house at around 8am and took the Vickster’s car, to ensure she had good transport capabilities just in case she is urgently called elsewhere.

The quickest way was the A34/M4 route – that seems to be the norm at this time on a weekday morning.

No particular holdups, other than joining the M25 heading south, before coming straight off for Heathrow T5.

I was lucky when I parked up in T5 Long Stay Parking – a bus was heading my way just at the right time. The downside to that was that I didn’t pay that much attention to exactly where I had parked!
