Passport Control was pretty busy to be honest, but it didn’t take very long to get through. Another successful use of the automated kiosks and I continue to be a happy bunny!
After getting through Passport Control, it was going to be another convoluted journey back home.
I had to catch an Eluzabeth Line train to T5, catch an H5H Hoppa bus to the Hilton T5 and finally drive home.
The Elizabeth Line appears to be very reliable and is fast becoming my usual mode of transport for connecting between terminals at Heathrow. This time I had to wait just 3 mins for a train.
When I arrived at T5, I headed up to Arrivals and outside to Bus Stops 17 and 18. I had just missed an H5H bus to the Hilton Hotel, so I had to be patient and wait for the next one.
I was relieved to see it turn up. I’m glad I wasn’t dragged into another Hoppa Bus issue.
At the Hilton, I clocked out at Front Desk and my motor was in good shape to head home. I went the M4 way, simply because the M25 had immediate congestion, and that’s the last thing I needed after a long day flying!
I got a lovely welcome home from The Vickster. The pussy-cats were not so sure, but warmed up eventually.
