Bit scary this - my first overseas trip by air on my own! At 47! I’ve always had someone in tow to rely on for finding my way around, or picking up things from hotel rooms when I have left them, and there’s no one but myself to rely on.

This is a review of The Honey Hole treehouse, available to rent at Sanctuary Treehouse Resort in Sevierville, Tennessee. We stayed for 3 nights over Easter 2024, and overall, we had a really enjoyable time.

The alarm went off at 6:30am, whilst Vick was in a deep sleep. But she fought through her desire to remain in bed. We were aiming to be on the road by 7am heading to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to do some hiking!

We slept OK for the best part, and we slept in beyond 7am - a little later than we would normally be up. Breakfast comprised fruit, cereal, and bread/jam, which was nice enough.

Another half decent sleep was enjoyed by the both of us. It was another comfy bed although again, it's difficult not to draw comparisons with your own bed at home. So it was a tad soft for my liking.
