So, this was my last time in the Flagship Lounge at LAX for a while. I’ve never thought of it as being that special, but it has turned in to my base on this trip - I’ve been in to this lounge/airport 4 times now in just a few days. So I’ve grown a little fond of it.

So I now had the challenge of getting across New York from JFK to EWR. If you look at a map, the two airports are (roughly) equidistant from Manhattan and (roughly) on the same level.

Once we got the call to reboard, we were back on the plane within a minute, and it was only another 5 or 10 mins before we were taking off for JFK. I didn’t notice the time, but it felt like we were about on time.

Well just days to go now, and I’m getting prepared for my long trip. Itinerary has been printed; flight bookings printed; hotel bookings printed; maps to get me across London, and across NYC printed; and I’ve got my ESTA, Global Entry and travel insurance details printed as well.

Shouldn’t be scary this one - I’ve done overseas trips on my own before (well once), and I’ve worn the t-shirt, and watched the video, and read the book etc. No big deal.
