What a day today has been! We were up early at 5am and were on the road by 5:30. Stopped off at our local Starbucks for breakfast and then headed to Paia to start the Road to Hana.

Great start to the day! Up early; off to Starbucks for breakfast and then we went snorkeling with a guide who taught us about some fancy fish in the sea and provided all the gear etc.

Started the day with a discounted breakfast on site. Standard price is $29.95 - it’s discounted to $19.95 if you arrive between 6:30 and 7, and then we had two $10 credit vouchers.

The hotel room we have stayed in at Volcano House has a connecting door, and unfortunately the Americans next door are fairly noisy.
