Crescent City to DeMartin Picnic Area

After filling up with gas, we drove a few miles down the coast and stopped at a picnic area.  Vick had collated all of the cheese and crackers bits and pieces from the other night, which we filled up on on the beach.

DeMartin Picnic Area to Arcata

The final stint took about an hour and we finally reached the Hampton Inn & Suites at Arcata.  Another fairly new hotel which was full over the weekend, so no chance of any upgrades.  Nice enough and after a snooze, even the sun came out!

In the late afternoon, we drove out to a forest for a very brief walk to stretch our legs. 

Then it was on to a Thai restaurant for a very fast dinner.  Good and tasty.
