With our flight to Atlanta not leaving until after 3pm from Heathrow, it was a nice relaxing start to the day in the Billingham household! If it was me, I’d be queuing up at the door to T5 waiting for it to open, but that’s not Vick’s bag.

We were rudely awoken by the car alarm going off – that’s the second time that’s happened in the past month or so. We had a similar spate of issues with the car alarm going off about a year ago and Tesla diagnosed some sort of issue, which (as far as I can remember) they fixed remotely.

Luckily that got me up at around 5am, which was the start of the F1 qualifying in Australia! Good start to the morning with Max securing pole again.

We didn’t think the cats could work out what was going on, but we enjoyed their company in the cafe as normal.

After doing our final jobs around the house, we were going to take them for a quick cat walk, but they were more interested in their lunch! So we fed them some treats and headed off around 11:30am.

The drive was easy via the M40, but it was pretty busy around the M25. There was a little bit of rain on the trip but nothing to write home about.

In final preparations, the one thing that I noticed was that I had booked T5 Meet & Greet, but our flight to Atlanta was leaving from T3. Oops!

I wasn’t able to change the booking before leaving the house, but when we arrived at T5 Meet & Greet, the guy we spoke to offered to deliver our car back to T3, which we obviously jumped at. It worked out ok in the end!
