We will be flying out from Manchester via Frankfurt to New York on Mon 04 June.  We will have one night on the East Coast.  We wanted to spend a little bit of time in New York since we want to go to a number of eateries.

First one is Chop’t (a fab build-your-own salad bar) which I discovered with J back in Oct 2011.  It’s just a great, healthy place to eat.  You can select your ingredients and they hack it together in a showy way.

This will be a trip focused on eating since the next place we want to go to is Le Parker Meridien which has the very best burger bar in all New York!

From New York we will fly out (late) to Los Angeles and will pick up a hire car – hope to get a Mustang – the only way to do the Pacific Coast Highway.

Anyway, Los Angeles is the real start of our trip…
