I hate putting luggage in the hold. I worry that it won’t arrive at the same time and place as we have. We have experienced this before when we flew to Dallas. And when we have so many connections, I’d say there was a fair chance something could go wrong.
So I’ve convinced Vick that we will go hand luggage only on the way, on the condition that she can buy some “essentials” when we get to Hawaii and we can then check in an additional item of luggage all the way back home.
We did a trial run to Jersey recently and it worked out fine. So I’m looking forward to sharp exits off the plane and through security and immigration.
