Holiday to Canada in Aug 2024: Day 12 – London Heathrow to Home

I managed again in getting us off the aircraft through door 2L first. As we walked up the airbridge, there was a sign for Cate Upton. We guessed who that was for.

We waited an age for a train back to passport control. If only they provided an estimate as to how long we would have to wait, we would have walked along the Transit Walkway.

Passport Control kiosks were a breeze and it was only a few mins later that we were picking up Bobby Tesla 2 from T5 Meet & Greet.

We were looking forward to getting home now. Just the hassle of the M25, which was slow heading clockwise towards the M40.

We stopped off at Beaconfield to pick some basic supplies to keep us going for a day or two, then we had to fight through some heavy queues heading through Clifton Hampden.

We weren’t sure whether that was normal for that time of day?

When we got home, the pussies were happy to see us. Chutney was in the dingy asleep – he just wanted some food. Mango was upstairs in bed, and when I went up, she got out of bed and came towards me. I think she was genuinely pleased to see us get home.
