After fighting with the baggage carousel, our priority baggage came out (almost) last. The baggage carousel system wasn't very intelligent and consequently, there were a number of collisions between bags being injected onto the carousel with bags that were coming around again, having not been collected first time.

There was only one passenger in the queue at First Check In, so it wasn't long before we were checking in our luggage. That's another odd thing to do - we haven't checked in luggage for years and I blame Andrew and Sam entirely.

It's unusual for us to be travelling on a Saturday, but a Saturday it was for our flight out to Seville. The plan was to have a leisurely start to the day and then we had vastly different expectations as to when we would leave home for our 4pm flight to Spain.

With Covid-19, the pandemic and lockdowns firmly behind us, this was the first time that we could get away with friends and family. With it being a big birthday bash for one of our party and a big age at that (!), we had to go somewhere warm in March, so The Vickster selected Seville.

The last in a trilogy of trips to Hawaii has concluded and it was another enjoyable one. Everything went according to plan and none of the flights (10 in all) were subject to any material delay.

After getting through passport control, I wander up to the north end of T5 and up the left set of lifts to the fourth floor. Need to remember that the right set of lifts only visit specific floors, excluding floor 4.
