In Aug 2006 we explored the west coast of the US, starting in Vancouver, down over the border to Seattle, down the Pacific Coast Highway, to Los Angeles, over to the Grand Canyon and finished off at Las Vegas.

Another chilled out morning for two retired folk in our cafe. That's us by the way, if it wasn't that obvious. Chutney was all over Vick as normal. Mango has been a little less interested in a warm lap, but she was happy to sit on the arm of my chair.

The Vickster is looking forward to this one. Her first time visiting Indian Wells for the ATP/WTA Masters 1000 tournament. She has already completed her grand slam of the Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US Open.

Whilst we were waiting to reboard, I was asked by the despatcher what the weather was like at Heathrow. A bit breezy, I said, which I guess was a bit of an understatement.

Lap 8 started with a jolt. My watch battery had run out, so my phone woke me abruptly. Due to the tube signalling issues last night, the Piccadilly line was shut, so I had to fork out £25 for an Uber to T3.
