Holiday USA SW Road Trip in Apr 2022: Day 7 – San Diego in the Morning

I didn’t sleep as well overnight as on previous nights.  I was up at around 2am; Vick was up around 4am.  We drove out to Starbucks and stopped off at the gas station to fill up, ahead of our long drive to Lake Havasu City.  However, there was a lot to get through before we left San Diego!

The Grand Prix started at around 6am and I was pleased to see Verstappen win.  Just over half way through that we popped down to grab some breakfast in the hotel.  Had some challenges with the $10 per person per night credit, which they didn’t want to allow us to use as part payment for dinner the other night.  I will sort that out after we get back from holiday.

A bit later, it was the Liverpool derby and that was a struggle.  Relieved to see the Pool win 2-0 and get back to within 1 point of Man City at the top of the Premier League.
