After getting through passport control, I jogged down the escalator, through customs, down the steps, through the Arrivals corridor, and down to the T2/T3 tube station.
It paid off. A train came in a minute or so after I walked up to the far end of the platform.
A short time later, I was walking down the main road, heading back to the Hilton Garden Inn ar Hatton Cross.
Having already paid to get out of the car park, I didn’t need to pop into the hotel, so I was straight onto the road, heading to the M4.
The M25 was stationery as usual, but it was dry and relatively mild, so I made good progress heading west.
I got home around 3:30pm, and the cats were in full song. Time to feed the little kitties.
