Marcus had already spoken with the cabin crew, so they were primed to speak with the ground team.
I was first off, and I met some familiar faces who were happy to allow us through the glass door. The staff here are so friendly.
Back onboard into my favourite seat, and it was pretty dark by this time.
We pushed back either on time or a few mins early, so it looked good for an ontime return back to Heathrow.
The menu showed the same meals that I had for lunch on my last three return flights from Sofia.
The lamb shoulder was as tasty as i remembered. More cheese and biscuits followed by a different mousse pudding.
I rediscovered cranberry juice on the way home. With some ice cubes, it becomes such a refreshing drink.
Only 5 or 6 rows of Club Europe on the way home. I didn’t notice on the way out, but I’m sure there were more rows on the way out.
On the flight back, I received the BA black friday sale email. I couldn’t check any prices in a meaningful way on board – the wifi was too limited. Will need to check tomorrow from home.
Lovely views of the city on final approach including clear sight on London Bridge and the fun fair in Hyde Park.
It was a bit of a bumpy landing, and it turned into a very short taxi to Gate 28 at Terminal 3.
