Tier Point Run to Sofia in Nov 2024: Day 1 – Prep

My daft octet of trips commence today. These were all constructed using the old cheap £210 return fares in Club Europe which earned 160 TPs a pop. That’s ridiculously good value for money, and an offer a lot of BA frequent flyers just couldn’t resist.

Originally I had booked these such that I would spend two days flying with one overnight stay at a Hilton around Heathrow. But since then, BA has waved its magic wand and cancelled a number of rotations.

So I have ended up with the first three taking place on Saturdays in November 2024; one on the following Tuesday; then I have two 2-day flying events over the weekend at the end of November and the start of December.

A day starting with a drive to Heathrow at a ridiculously early hour; one of the first departures of the day from Heathrow T3; BA breakfast and lunch in the skies and back home in time for afternoon tea!
