Tier Point Run to Sofia in Dec 2023: Day 2 – London Heathrow to Home

Waiting for the shuttle bus to T3 Business Parking
Waiting for the shuttle bus to T3 Business Parking

The benefit of arriving into one of the central gates at T3 is obvious – it’s much closer to Arrivals and Flight Connections. Although, it still took 5 mins or so to walk/jog through the corridors, along the travelators and down the stairs to get into Passport Control. I wonder which gate is the closest?

I had another successful trip through the passport kiosks – I seem to be on a roll now. Let’s hope that roll continues!

I jogged out of T3, hopeful that I might catch an earlier shuttle back to business parking, but I ended up waiting about 10 mins before a mini-bus arrived. As normal, there was no sign on the bus and the driver didn’t proactively announce where the bus was going, so if you are not brave enough to ask, you’d be waiting for the next one.

Bobby Tesla 2 was in good shape when I got back and was happy to get me home, driving through the light rain up the M40 and through the back roads to Drayton.

Mango was in a frenzied state, heading out as I arrived home, then almost imediately coming in via the cat flap and miaowing like crazy. She’s a dafty…

Anyway, another TP Run under my belt. 320 TPs added to my lifetime total.
