I have only 3 flights to go to complete my massive TP run. Next stop Brussels.
I did toy with the idea of missing this out and just heading back to MAN – easy enough to do, but I don’t want to blot my copybook just yet.
I expect we will do this sort of dumping of the final leg when we go away at Christmas.
Came in through Security South to check out the “secret” entrance to the CCR – there were no queues at all, so I was straight through.
Picked up my Starbucks and headed to the South Lounge complex and booked myself a shower. I need to scrub up for seeing the Mrs later today.
Nice to relax in the First Lounge for a while whilst I wait for my BRU flight at 13:50. I’m hoping the immediate turnaround won’t cause any problems – I think I will tell the CC that is what I am doing.
If we come in at gate 4 again and the barrier is down it will be easy (it might give everyone waiting to board a bit of a shock someone coming up the ramp), but if it’s not I’ll have to scoot around security and back in again. Turnaround time is 40 mins.
Tried the chicken penang curry again and the chill this time. Chilli wasn’t that good, and the curry was very hot, but very nice indeed.
Boarded at gate 22 and the flight was on time, and indeed with the choice of runway at the other end we arrived a touch early. There were 9 rows of CE seats, and I’m pretty sure all were taken.
The flight itself was only 40 mins long, and I didn’t indulge in any food – one glass of water was all I needed.
I advised the crew about my immediate turnaround. Luckily we arrived at gate B04 which is the same gate that I did my scoot around last week, and it worked fine again this week.
