Tier Point Run to Cancun in Jan 2014: Day 5 – Los Angeles (LAX) to Las Vegas (LAS)

On approach into Las Vegas
On approach into Las Vegas

This flight was on time and the cabin wasn’t full, so I had the opportunity of sitting next to the window and taking a few photos.

There’s not a lot to see in the LA darkness so I’ve only included one which doesn’t show much anyway!

Other than that the flight was only about 45 mins and we got the standard drink and horrible pack of pretzels.

As soon as we landed I rang the hotel to check when the shuttle bus would be at the airport and it was just about to leave, so ideal timing.

Took us a long time to reach the gate though, and when we got there, there were no marshals to direct us in. Not sure whether marshals is the right term, but the blokes with the flags. Not a good show.

Jogged through the airport, on the train shuttle to T1, through baggage and down to level 0 and the shuttle bus literally pulled up just as I got there. We had to wait 10 mins for another South West crew to arrive and get on board, but other than that trip number two came to a successful end.

Back at the hotel they checked me into a standard room on the third floor overlooking nothing, so not impressed by that, but not the end of the world.
