It still feels a bit odd walking into a joint BA/AA check-in area at JFK T8. But everyone is warm and welcoming, so it's a good place to be.

I was greeted at TFW with a huge queue to get into security. BA were only allowing paper boarding cards, so there was obviously an IT problem somewhere. Apparently it was an airport security system issue rather than a BA IT issue.

It took me about 5 mins to walk from Gate 31 to the Chelsea Lounge in Terminal 8. The lounge dragons welcomed me in. It seemed a lot quieter than it was on my outbound, last Fri.

As it happens, the Starbucks queue at TBIT wasn't long at all. Since they opened the second store further up the concourse, perhaps it has distributed the volume of passengers wanting a Starbucks.
