We turned the light off at around 7:30pm last night. Vick has conked out laying on the bed, and I was feeling fairly tired too, having had to focus hard to scoffing down my lemon raspberry cheesecake whilst watching an old episode of Law & Order SVU.

The day that we depart on holiday to the USA is always a great day, but it had been tinged with a bit of sadness and guilt due to our pussies not liking the noise of the fireworks.
