We turned the light off at around 7:30pm last night. Vick has conked out laying on the bed, and I was feeling fairly tired too, having had to focus hard to scoffing down my lemon raspberry cheesecake whilst watching an old episode of Law & Order SVU.

When we arrived at The First Wing (TFW), we found it fairly quiet. We had received an email from BA advising of changes being made to TFW and the First Lounge. So, we were quite interested to find out what they were changing.

The day that we depart on holiday to the USA is always a great day, but it had been tinged with a bit of sadness and guilt due to our pussies not liking the noise of the fireworks. Last night was particularly bad, and although Mango seemed to deal with the noise ok, poor old Chutney was not a happy cat.

We haven't been back to Washington DC for years, so we decided it was time for another visit. Following the debacle of the BA Executive Club demolition, we decided to blow some Avios and a Companion Voucher.
