Continued dreaming about falling off the Grand Canyon! Anyway, breakfast at El Tovar was an experience: waitresses were unattentive, Vick was burnt on her arm when the coffee was refilled, and my eggs were underdone!

Well I wish I hadn’t started reading that blasted book - ‘Over the edge’. Neither Vick nor I could think about anything other than slipping off the Bright Angel trail and falling to our deaths! What a dreadful night!

Never mind what time we woke (it was 6am by the way), today was Grand Canyon day. We left Kingman and drove 175 miles north east to Grand Canyon Village.

Slept ok last night. Didn’t wake until about 8am again. Although we have over 150 miles to do, it was all by Interstate so wasn’t a problem.
