Holiday USA SW Road Trip in Apr 2022: Day 8 – Lake Havasu City
Woke early as normal. We headed out to the local Starbucks at about 5am. It was a tad chilly, so we needed our jumpers to be comfortable. Whilst out and about, we came up with a plan for the day, or at least the first few hours!
After finishing our Starbucks, we walked back to the hotel and headed straight into breakfast. Hampton Inn breakfasts are never that good, even though the front desk staff described it as tremendous! I had some toasted muffins (which I love) and some sausage patties. Vick had some porridge and an omelette. We won’t bother tomorrow – we will get breakfast at Starbucks instead!
From there we went to the front desk and sorted our bottles of water and we secured additional compensation for the dreadful situation last night where it was clear the bed sheets hadn’t been replaced with new. We got the first night free of charge, but agreed to pay for the second night.
