The hotel wasn’t very helpful when it came to asking for a late checkout. To be honest I’ve been pretty disappointed with the Pan Pacific. We showed loyalty in coming back after 5 years and then didn’t get an upgrade, had to pay for Internet access, and they won’t give an inch on check out.
Anyway, we spent the morning roaming around Gas Town and it was still a little overcast so it wasn’t that inspiring to be honest.
Decided to head to the airport at midday and chill out in the Air Canada lounge.
Grabbed lunch at an Asian stall which served rice and orange chicken/mixed veg stir fry which was really nice.
Now we are awaiting our flight back to Frankfurt. We are both disappointed that this trip has come to an end, but now we are looking forward to getting back into real life!
