Bad night’s sleep – work early and Vick got up at 6am to watch the tennis.
Decided to go to Starbucks for breakfast as a cost effective solution – didn’t have the things that we have come to love over the past 4 weeks and cost us more than going to the Bayside Buffet at $15.95 each. Learnt for tomorrow anyway.
Went to Forum Shops at Caesar’s Palace so Vick could go to Victoria’s Secret. I told her that it was enough that she owned a shop that I didn’t know anything about!
We were going to hold off from lunch and go out big style for dinner but we couldn’t see the point of being around the Cheesecake Factory at lunchtime, heading back to the Mandalay Bay and then going out again, so we ended up having a late lunch at the CF. We took our cheesecakes back to the MB as a tea time treat. That meant that the 30-45 min trip back meant that we needed to keep jumping in and out of the shade so that we could avoid the cheesecakes melting big style.
Anyway back in the room we decided to head down for another dip at the beach – the lazy river was packed and it makes it really difficult to manoeuver. We also bought an inflatable tube at $24 which is not cheap and we called it Jim (don’t ask).
After a nice chill by the pool we got back to our room and demolished our cheesecakes. Later we decided we needed a burger to finish our tummies once and for all so we popped to New York New York and went in the Sports bar there. Good beer and good burgers.
In the evening we watched Wild Target which I had downloaded from Sky Go starring Emily Blunt, and a host of British actors. Not much cop but kept us vaguely amused during the evening.
Stats for Day 25: 0 miles.
Plan for tomorrow is to chilll out in Las Vegas (again).
