Holiday to Indian Wells in Mar 2025: Day 4 – Morning in Hollywood

Another exciting day in store for us. We started off in LA, and we end up at Dana Point on the coast, south of LA.

We started the day off with our normal early morning walk to Starbucks.

Our local store allowed us to sit in, which was a change to the typical policy of Starbucks stores in big cities nowadays.

They tend to serve from a window first thing, then open their doors at a more reasonable hour.

We had a debate about breakfast: should we take advantage of the free hotel breakfast, or head out to a pancake place where Vick could get something better for her.

That all became academic when we organised free access to Peacock so we could watch the Liverpool game.

We therefore popped into hotel breakfast for the basics. We planned a further top up later in the morning.

Liverpool didn’t perform well in the first half against the Saints, and we gave away a really soft goal.

In the second half, we stepped it up a gear and scored three fine goals.

That took us to 16 points clear at the top, although we have played two more games than Arsenal.

After the game, we walked up to Hollywood Boulevard, where we checked out the Walk of Fame and the theatres.

We also picked up a second Starbucks and a breakfast top-up.

After finding Barry Manilow’s star, we wandered back to the hotel and packed up.

By this point, it was starting to get quite warm and our feet had already started aching a little.

We were turning into light weights…
