Another chilled out morning for two retired folk in our cafe. That’s us by the way, if it wasn’t that obvious. Chutney was all over Vick as normal.
Mango has been a little less interested in a warm lap, but she was happy to sit on the arm of my chair. She might be missing us a bit more in a few days when she realises that we are missing…

Our eating plan for the day was for a late brunch at home, followed by an early dinner in the lounge ahead of our flights to/from Dublin.
Brunch was much appreciated by these travellers.
We left for Heathrow at just after 11:30am, after feeding some lunch to our hungry cats. We think Mango prefers to graze, but is forced into scoffing as much as she can in one sitting, otherwise Chutters will clear her bowl.
She never quite finishes what we give her, so there’s always some scraps for Chutney to enjoy.

For a change, Vick drove her ID3 to Heathrow. Bobby Tesla has a slow puncture in the offside front and I decided to leave it until after our holiday, before organising a replacement tyre.
The drive was easy and we arrived at the Hilton Heathrow T5. Surprisingly, there were quite a few parking spaces close to reception – it’s always packed here.
We received a warm welcome from the Front Desk staff, but they played dumb on the suite upgrade. Never mind – we would only be in the room about 6-7 hours anyway.
We were the only passengers that caught the 1pm shuttle to Terminal 5 and enjoyed the delights of our personal over-sized taxi all on our own.
