This holiday is all about the tennis at Indian Wells: well two evening sessions of tennis anyway! The back story to us booking this one is the focus of some heated discussion!
We are pretty sure that we decided to book this trip when we were away in Tennessee in March 2024. Vick’s always wanted to go, and this is where the story diverts depending on who you believe:
- Vick says that she suggested it, just because she always wanted to go.
- I say I suggested booking it, because Vick has always wanted to go, and I do nice stuff like that.
It’s obvious who has the more believable back story, isn’t it?
It also doubles up as a retirement celebration. Vick retired last week – her last working day was Wed 26 Feb and I’ve been semi-retired since July 2024. We have something to celebrate!
