I jogged most of the way to Passport Control. A number of the Schengen gates along the way were very busy, but Passport Control was dead.

Malaga airport looked OK. Nothing special, but it had a Starbucks and a Giraffe restaurant, and that's just based on what I could see around Gate D42.

I had forgotten how nice the Platinum Wing is at Helsinki. That's the top Finnair lounge, located close to the 50+ gates in the non-Schengen area of the airport.

I whizzed through to T5 Flight Connections and got on the first T3 bus. It stopped at T5B, but by that stage, it was a squeeze to get anyone else onboard.

After arriving at the lounge complex at JFK T8, I made a conscious decision to check whether there were any decent window seats in the Soho lounge before defaulting to the Chelsea Lounge.
