Holiday to Canada in Aug 2024

We are on our travels again! This time we are heading over to Canada to do a mini road-trip from Toronto up to Montreal and on to Quebec City. It should be a warm break at this time of the year.

Passport Control was pretty busy to be honest, but it didn't take very long to get through. Another successful use of the automated kiosks and I continue to be a happy bunny!

I jogged most of the way to Passport Control. A number of the Schengen gates along the way were very busy, but Passport Control was dead.

Malaga airport looked OK. Nothing special, but it had a Starbucks and a Giraffe restaurant, and that's just based on what I could see around Gate D42.

I had forgotten how nice the Platinum Wing is at Helsinki. That's the top Finnair lounge, located close to the 50+ gates in the non-Schengen area of the airport.

I whizzed through to T5 Flight Connections and got on the first T3 bus. It stopped at T5B, but by that stage, it was a squeeze to get anyone else onboard.

After arriving at the lounge complex at JFK T8, I made a conscious decision to check whether there were any decent window seats in the Soho lounge before defaulting to the Chelsea Lounge.
