Back in the air, to continue adding to my Tier Point pot. Somewhere new for me this time: Tucson in Arizona. The only time I have ever come across Tucson in the past is courtesy of Chandler in Friends.

The airbridge was attached pretty quickly at Gate 28, so it was long before I was jogging on my way to Passport Control, which was empty when I finally reached it.

Marcus had already spoken with the cabin crew, so they were primed to speak with the ground team. I was first off, and I met some familiar faces who were happy to allow us through the glass door. The staff here are so friendly.

It was also unusual to arrive at T3 in the light. The front was lit up attractively on my recent visits. A very different feel to the place with the sun up.

After just 3 days away from Sofia, the start of Lap 4 beckons. After today, it's only another 3 days before my first of two B2B2Bs (Fri and Sat B2Bs).

The flight back to Heathrow was a bit of a drag. It was a longer flight because of fighting against the jet stream, and by that stage, the novelty had worn off a bit. I felt tired as well, and I just needed to get home.

Having arrived at a gate on the other side of the concourse, we got a different level of service on arrival. The airbridge was connected, and there was a short delay whilst the arrival team got themselves prepared.

I found T3 in a similar state as i did over the last few Saturdays. It was plenty busy, with passengers waiting for check-in to open.

I was looking forward to the start of Lap 3 on my eight B2B mega TP run to Sofia (and back). It was another early start, which was the bit I wasn't looking forward to.
