Well this was a bit different – a holiday in the UK. There was a bit of planes, trains and automobiles involved as well, so was full of entertainment.

The hotel wasn’t very helpful when it came to asking for a late checkout. To be honest I’ve been pretty disappointed with the Pan Pacific.

The alarm was set for 4:30am so that we would be out by 5am and at the airport by 5:30am. In the event, neither Vick nor I could sleep properly after about 3am, so we ended up rising at 4am and leaving the hotel by 4:45am.

Another excellent breakfast was followed by a late drive into Vegas. Since this was our last day in Vegas and we would have a very early start tomorrow we wanted to be back to the hotel early.

Had a leisurely breakfast at the hotel which was really good. Vick tried to lead us to the breakfast restaurant but struggled to work out which way to turn. The hotel is a complete maze and links up all over the place.

Woke at 7am and left the hotel at the Grand Canyon by 7:30am heading back towards Kingman. We stopped off at the Starbucks in Williams (about 50 miles from GC) at the junction with the main I40 for the normal coffees and breakfast.
