Tier Point Run to Hawaii/San Juan in Feb 2014: Day 5 – Miami MIA to San Juan SJU

So Filthy Monkey and I worked out a plan to meet up (very) briefly at Gate D50 just before I boarded my flight. In order to help identify him (and me) I made a simple sign.

The plane was an International 757 which meant it had slopy flat bed seats again.

The passenger next to me didn’t say a word and was glued to his tablet, so I didn’t find out any of his inner feelings about any subject.

However that didn’t mean he wasn’t involved in media production in some form!

Service was good – decent meal and ended up with another warm cookie (which I turned down).

Arrived a few mins early and we were quickly at the gate and then off the plane.

The passenger next to me wasn’t very keen at jostling with other passengers, so consequently I was probably the last one off from business class.

As a domestic US flight, there’s no immigration and security, so it was straight out into the taxi queue and I got a price of $13 to get to the hotel.

Checked in to the Hampton Inn hotel – staff very friendly and I got my free Haribo gummy bears for being a Diamond member.
